One of my friends recently started blogging again and it's inspired me to do so as well. With my wedding less than a month away, I could sure use the daily accountability and reflection as well as the public food journal to keep me away from frequenting the "sometimes food" part of a healthy diet.
I am a little bummed starting this because I realize that I backslid a lot over the summer after a highly stressful 50 hour a week training program. I started this blog when I was 163 and now I am at 164.6. Seeing those numbers side by side is a bit disheartening, but at least there isn't a drastic difference. I hope to be 160 by my wedding.
I've started being a lot more conscious of what I eat and cut out fast food altogether on Monday as it marked the 30 day mark. It is, obviously, too late to get to my goal weight, but it is never too late to tone, and that's what I'm doing.
I got a new work out outfit and it is AMAZING how motivating that is. If I feel like I look cute, I am all the more likely to want to work out.
Here's a set of goals for me to abide by for the next 30 days.
1. NO FAST FOOD (6 inch Subway is okay)
2. Work out at least 5 times a week.
3.Stay hydrated
4. Don't eat after 8
Food:
Poptart
Carrots with ranch
3 mini Snickers
1 graham cracker
1 egg and cheese bagel sandwich
1 cup Dr. Pepper
1 small bag of Munchies
Exercise:
8.13 mile bike ride (in 40 minutes)
