I've been keeping up with my new regime very well so far. 100 sit ups, ever day, no excuses. I also went on a 7 mile bike ride yesterday and rewarded myself with some Chipotle. It is relatively healthy and with the biking and sit ups, I burned enough calories to justify any extras.
I am finding that I have to get over MANY more mental blocks than physical blocks with the sit ups. I am sore, and I get tired, but it is still pretty easy physically to do 100 sit ups. I make a lot of excuses to myself as I work out, "I already went bike riding, I could stop," "Meh, 50 sit ups is better than none..."and other such nonsense. I have to keep reminding myself that I am doing this for me and that I am the only one I can let down. I am allowed to stop any time I want, but I won't because I want more for myself.
3 days down, 3 weeks to go.
