One Week Fast Food Free: 175.6

I have been trying to take everything to fast. I cut out all the stuff I like to eat at once, and then I end up failing because it was too much too soon. Now, I am trying a different approach. I have challenged myself to one week of being fast food free. I know that sounds silly to some of you, but I love fast food and hate cooking the result being that I'd eat out 5-7 times per week.

I started on the 19th and will be done with the trial on the 26th. I am letting myself eat whatever I want, as long as it's not fast food. I am surprised at how much less I'm eating just because it's not addictive fast food. Still plenty of candy and soda that I'll cut out later, but Better for now.

I was 175.6 when I started and I also took my measurements. I'm excited to see what kind of results there are. My plan is to ease myself off of soda by cutting that out little by little. Surprisingly, without it around and without fast food, I'm not craving soda as much.

I have incentivised myself with CLOTHES! Well, clothe :p I really want a dress from ModCloth, but at $80 I can't justify getting it. I mean, sure, I'll wear it for Christmas, but I have plenty of other dresses, I just WANT this one. SO, I will let myself get it if I lose 10 lbs. or get off soda for a month, whatever comes first.

My fears with this is that since I see this "one week" "one month" stuff that I might see it as just that rather than a baby step to a lifestyle shift. Only time will tell. Be back on the 26th with results!
