And still going strong! I am even impressed at my will power, but I guess weddings have made people do crazier things. I was on the higher side of calories today in terms of what I should be eating, but still under my final count.
I found and app called "MyNetDiary" and it is GREAT! It is like Weight Watchers in you pocket. I can input what I ate and choose from a variety of options. It includes all the nutrition info for the selected item and also calculates calories. Takes a lot of the calculating out of the equation for me which is great because I hate rifling through the trash in search of a discarded food wrapper to see how it fits into my new dietary changes.
The app also allows you to set a fitness goal and provided you with charts of your progress as well as a reasonable "end date." My ideal weight is 135, but I am so big boned, I'm thinking 140-145 might be more healthy and ideal. With the diet and exercise plan I'm following, I'm slated to lose about 2 lbs. per week which puts my at June 20th to reach my goal. I am not expecting that to happen, but it'd be swell to be nice and trim when I see all my Southern California friends over the summer.
If I can lose around 2 lbs. per week, I will be under 160 for the first time in over a year and BOY will that feel good! I will also be more of 150 in time for my wedding which means there won't be any unwanted bumps or bulges in my wedding dress. Now I am just worried that I might lose too much weight and that I won't fit well because the dress is too big. I guess only time will tell. I can always try it on the week before and bulk up if need be.
