I can totally see the difference in my mood and the way I feel after just 11 days of fast food and soda free. I have been drinking Yakult to help my digestive system and I just feel a lot lighter. I still feel a bit heavy around the abdomen, which is where I carry my weight "doughnut," and I am hoping the juice cleanse I am starting this weekend will help with that.
It have been FREEZING lately (high 30's-low 50's) so I haven't had the chance to get out on my bike much, and my period inhibits my ability to do sit ups, so I haven't been doing much in terms of working out. And, yet, already I've gone from 169 at the beginning of the year to 164 as of today. I know a lot of that is water weight and just the bad food that had been sitting in me being flushed out with all the water and good food I'm eating, but it is INCREDIBLY encouraging to have some results already. It keeps me motivated and on track.
With the visualization I've been reading about, they suggest getting a photo of what you want to look like and looking past it to absorb it into your unconscious self. You're them communicating with that part of your brain and it will help you to get that body you want! Having a background in psychology, I believe in the power pf positive visualization and I have a lot of faith in this.
