160.4

SATURDAY! Oh how I love the weekends! Decreased boredom leads to decreased cravings and decreased appetite. As you can see, I had very few snacks today. This has to do with the fact that I woke up later than on the weekdays, took a mid day nap, and have things to occupy my thoughts other than food.

I sincerely hope that with my new job, as a teacher, that I will be occupied enough that food is more of fuel for my day rather than something to fill the hours of boredom. I also know that I will increase my activity by walking around the classroom etc. rather than sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day, so that should help with my overall health.

I was reading up on Weight Watchers and plugged my height, weight, activity level, and weight to lose into a little calculator. According to them, I should be able to shed all my weight in 12 weeks. That's if I continue to do at least exercise regularly.

I saw some old friends today and noticed they'd gained weight. I wonder if people see me and think, “Wow, she really let herself go.” Here's hoping they won't have need to for long!

Lunch: Bean and cheese burrito
Dinner: Quinoa with balsamic vinegarette
Snacks: 3 pieces sugarless salt water taffy, 64 oz. water, Coke
