162.4

I'm so happy now that I am finally seeing some results! I am finding it easier and easier to get through the day. I've started eating every two hours.

Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, snack.

This keeps my blood sugar up, gives me specific times at which I'm allowed to eat, and cuts off my snacking at a certain time. I'm not hungry for dinner again today, so I decided just to skip it again.

Victory of the day: My best friend asked if I wanted to get coffee tomorrow. I said yes, then reconsidered, and said no. She suggested we go on a walk. How perfect it that!

Another victory: There was the most delicious and authentic Mexican rice in the break room today. I could have eaten it for DAYS! But I didn't, I only had three bites. Then I caved and made a little soft taco with it, after a bite, I resisted and threw the rest away (bad Ruth for wasting food). I am really starting to admire my will power. It's almost a game now, how much can I resist my urges to over eat etc.

I was looking up how to loose weight, and one is supposed to stay in a 500-1000 calorie deficit every day. I started thinking about counting calories, but I feel like that might lead to an obsession with the numbers and I don't want that. My parents did the Atkins' diet when I was a kid and it gave me an unhealthy obsession with carbohydrates with which I struggle to this day. My best friend suggested Weight Watchers and I am considering it. I like that it's not just calories, but also the nutritional content of the food that's considered.

I just want to be healthy and look fabulous.

Snacks: ½ corn tortilla with Mexican rice, mango, peach yogurt

  1. Mary wondered if your weight changed after you crapped in the morning, so she did and check her weight afterwards and noticed she was a few pounds lighter LOL TMI, SORRY SORRY~

    I just thought you might want to know that in case you happen to...poop...in the morning and do so before checking your weight? 8D;;;
