I worked out 5 times this week with hikes and bike rides and I am sure that made a difference. Oddly enough, I also started eating candy this week and had some of my favorite fast food: Panda Express. I am trying to recondition myself to eat "sometimes" foods only sometimes and in their appropriate serving sizes.
For instance, I had a bag of Sour Patch watermelon gummies, some of my favorite movie going fare. I would normally eat an entire bag in the 2 hour long movie, on top of soda and popcorn. Well, these days, I count out the serving size (which is a mere 11 pieces) close the bag, and put it away. I also take small bites so that every piece of candy lasts much longer and I feel like I am getting more sweets than I actually am.
I am really proud of the physical progress I've made (10 lbs. lost in a month) as well as the mental progress I've made. Food isn't the enemy. Exercise isn't a chore. Losing weight is not impossible.
Especially if you are that someone.
