I lost an inch off of everything, which is either awesome or measurement error. I've gotten better at taking measurements and noted exactly how I took them, so the measurements should be valid for the next time.
Since the challenge, I've lost and additional .2 lbs. As of today, I am 173, waist is 32, hips are 38, butt is 43.5, and I am ready for a new challenge! You may recall this dress from the last post.
I. WANT. THIS. DRESS. At $79.99 and considering the fact that I have it in blue and I have a perfectly nice red dress already, I cannot justify buying it. Unless...YES, unless I use it as a reward for good behavior. Seriously, sometimes I feel like losing weight taps into the most juvenile parts of my brain ("I don't wanna!") and I need a sticker chart or something. But I digress. Yes, this dress will be my motivation to stay the course.
What is this challenge you may ask (especially if you didn't read the previous post :p)? One month soda free. I'm calling it Soda Sober, but I will allow myself a swig if someone offers. I am doing this for 30 days which means that starting today will make the challenge end on November 1. What a perfect way to start the holiday season!
I don't know if I'll lose any weight, but here's my thinking. I associate fast food with soda. Chipotle really just doesn't taste as good if it's not accompanied by a Coke, ya' know? So, if I can't get a soda, the fast food won't be as satisfying, which will get me off of fast food too. See where I'm going with this?
Originally, I was going to do 10 lbs lost or 30 days Soda Sober, but that gives me an out before the end and I really want to kick the soda habit. Plus I don't want to get discouraged if I don't lose that much weight. I want to do this to be healthier.
This challenge is going to be a challenge, but I've got my trusty 24 oz. water bottle and I am ready to get my hydration on!
