I fell of the wagon...hard. Getting into the "I can't have it" mindset only leads me to an "Eat all the things!" mindset shortly thereafter. So, I've developed a new plan the I feel like is both manageable and healthy.
I know Paleo works and that it makes me feel good, so I want to keep it up, but not all the time. I plan to eat 100% clean Monday through Friday. Planning lunches and dinners for work with a very structured meal plan makes for healthier choices during the week. I am going to fast on Saturday so tea and water only from 8:00 on Friday night to when I wake up on Sunday morning. And now for my favorite part, I will eat whatever I want on Sunday! That way I have a regularly scheduled "cheat" day to look forward to and keep me strong.
I hope to increase my exercise with keeping my anxiety levels down. I've also read some pretty amazing things about fasting and I am hopping that's what I need to get past the 164 I've been stuck at for a while. I'm down 6.25% of my body weight and my husband is totally winning, but I'm not giving up yet.
