New Year New Me blah blah crap

I always set manageable goals to accomplish every year. Two fitness goals for this year are to get down to 160 (though 150 is really preferable) and to put 2,500 more miles on my bike.

I'm planning on getting an attatchment for my bike that makes it starionary. Part of the problem I have with working out is that I hate exersizing for the sake of exersize. I lost a lot of weight in the past by combining diet and exersize. Thing is, back then I biked 50 miles a week to work. Now, I bike a max of 10 and that's if  I decide to bike. I find myself driving to work just because the effort of biking doesn't really payoff with only a couple miles.

I'm also working on not just getting in bed and on the internet when I get home. I've been crafting a lot which really helps improve my mood. The better I feel, the better I eat. The better I eat, the more inclined I am to work out. The more I work out, the better I look. And so on in a wonderful cycle.

I've been doing 100 sit ups a night for three whole days and I've had no fast food today. Sounds pathetic, but I have to take and appreciate little steps. I was doing one set of 50 then two sets of 25. Today, I did two sets of 50. Again, not that impressive if you consider I did three sets of 100 every night before my honeymoon but, again, appreciate the little things :)

So, step by step I'm getting there and I'm proud of it.
