I really like that in the past couple of weeks, exercise and healthy eating have really become part of my routine. I wake up on days off and get right into work out clothes, ready to work. If it's a work day, I ride to work, no exceptions. When I get home, it's straight into work out clothes and onto my stationary bike.
As much umph as I had yesterday is as little as I have today. I went 4 miles on my real bike, and 4 on the stationary. I've got 90 miles to go by the end of the month in order to be "on track" with my goals. I'd like to make it, but I'm not terribly worried about making it, since it's a short month. With the way I've been at it lately, I'm sure I'll get to my goal no problem next month with a few more days.
It took me a long time to settle into the routine I'm in, but I really think it's sustainable. I find I don't have fast food cravings and the thought of eating greasy food isn't very appealing anymore. I crave fresh vegetables and water, which is weird but cool.
With how hard I've been working, I'm excited and apprehensive about the weigh in at the end of the month. I really hope I'm in the 160's, but I worry that if I'm not I'll just say forget it. I'm really trying to steele myself and just make the decision to make this a lifestyle.
