Week Three: Drudgery

At this point, eating is kind of a no brainer. I have coffee, but basically fast from 8:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. the following day. I find this really helps keep me alert and makes me appreciate the food I'm eating as well as making me more sensitive to portion sizes and sugar. When I'm hungry from fasting, I don't want junk, I want nutrition, so fasting has really helped me make better choices.

Now it the exercise bit that it hard. I just don't like my stationary bike. I would so prefer to be out on my real bike, but I'm not comfortable riding long distances alone. If my tire blows out or I fall and get hurt, I could really get stranded and I'm all about buddy rides. Even if I wanted to ride I couldn't since it's gloomy and raining. The weather really affects my mood. Luckily, despite rainy day recess, I only ate Cheezits (not the chocolate I have at school) at lunch.

I WANT to bike for an hour tonight, but I don't have the umph. I'm hoping I will when I get home. The thought is nice, but I didn't get on the stationary at all yesterday and I am just worried about losing the good habits I've been working to keep.
