We rode our bikes there since it was only 2 miles, speed walked the 5k in 58 minutes, and then rode our bikes back. I love that the amount of exercise felt like nothing and that I am not even sore today! It is so great to be healthy and thriving the way that we are due to our huge change in lifestyle.
In other news, I have been riding my bike to work every day this year save one (we were traveling back from Southern California and didn't get home until 2 a.m., can you blame me?). I feel really good about it and love that it seamlessly incorporates a workout into my daily routine regardless of whether I do any work on my abs when I get home.
Being healthy feels so damn good!
